Situated in the exciting South of Market (SOMA) neighborhood in the midst of Multimedia Gulch, the Glas Kat Supper Club is less than three blocks south of the Moscone Convention Center and Yerba Buena Gardens, and four blocks west of the new downtown Pacific Bell Baseball Stadium. The $1.5 million Glas Kat Supper Club is the site of the once-famous Trocadero Transfer Dance Club, historic for being one of the City's largest and first openly gay nightclubs when it opened in 1977. A few performers that have graced the Troc's stage were Neil Young, Grace Jones, and Elton John. |
| Concept | The Glas Kat Supper Club is today's version of the supper club of the 30's and 40's which fuses simultaneously fine dining with diverse entertainment in large, elegant surroundings. hours of operation: Lunch in the Tapas Lounge 11:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Happy hour, 5:30-8 p.m. Club hours, 9:30-2 a.m. Entrees in the Kitchen are available from 6pm - 10pm and Saturdays 6:30pm - 11pm. Rock & roll Tapas dinner in the lounge 5-10 p.m. weekdays, 6-1 a.m. on Friday and Saturdays. The Glas Kat is one of the City's few dining establishments to offer extended hours for those late night adventurers, the glass-enclosed second floor skyroom and Tapas Bar will open from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. on the Weekends. |
| Cuisine | The menu presented in both the upstairs dining room and the more casual downstairs lounge offers Western Fusion Cuisine blended with Eastern flavors or garnishes. In addition, two Tapas bars showcase the area's freshest seafood and unique fusion appetizers. |

11,000 watts of power of the original Trocadero sound system has been renovated and re-rated for The Glas Kat's nightclub and live music experience. In each of the individual sound systems of the separate interior environments, entire new cables and speakers have been professionally installed to enhance the Supper Club music experience. All of the new sound equipment has been selected and custom-designed by Monster Cable Products to create the first ever Monster Cable Sound Experience Club in the country. The nightclub lighting effects and stage lighting all have been reconstructed or replaced with all new technology. |
| Monster Lair | A private multimedia function room created personally by Noel Lee, inventor/founder of Monster Cable Products and his staff will offer their own professional audio-phial touches. This rooms "state-of-the-art" amenities include: Complete Macintosh power & reproduction system, Large-screen projection, high-definition, flat screen video; 42-inch front- and rear-projection television with satellite hook-up; karaoke jukebox; portable bar available, and 14-seat dining room/conference table. |
